6-wire electronic throttle inspection method

There are many methods to detect the electronic throttle of automobile, which mainly include reading data directly, detecting the voltage of throttle position sensor, detecting the power supply voltage, detecting the resistance and so on. This will be described in detail below.

1. Read data directly:

Connect the diagnostic tool to the diagnostic base and start the engine. The normal opening of throttle position sensor 1 is 3%-93%, that of throttle position sensor 2 is 97%-3%, that of throttle position sensor 3 is 12%-97%, and that of throttle position sensor 4 is 4%-49%.

If the measured value is less than the above range, there is something wrong with the throttle. At this time, inspection and maintenance should be carried out to avoid the normal use of the car due to the damage of the throttle.

2. Check the voltage of throttle position sensor:

When the throttle valve is fully open, its voltage is about 5v. When the throttle is closed, its voltage is about 0.5v.

3. Check the power supply voltage:

Pull off the throttle position sensor and start the engine. The voltage between vcc and throttle valve is usually 4.5-5.5v ..

4. Detection resistance:

The resistance between vcc and idle contact is generally 1.5-2.6 ohms. The resistance between vcc and vih is generally 0.75- 1.3 ohm.
