The throttle electronic control unit is usually manufactured together with the engine electronic control unit. The working principle of the electronic throttle control system is shown in the above figure. The accelerator pedal position sensor (6) transmits the information that the driver needs to accelerate or decelerate to the accelerator electronic control unit (10), the ECU calculates the corresponding optimal accelerator position according to the obtained information, and sends a control signal to the accelerator actuator (4), and the accelerator actuator drives the accelerator to the calculated optimal accelerator opening position. By communicating with other electronic control units, such as engine electronic control unit, automatic transmission electronic control unit, etc. ), the ECU constantly corrects the optimal position of the throttle according to the information of the throttle position sensor (3), the signal of the engine speed sensor (2) and the information of the vehicle speed sensor (7), so that the opening of the throttle reaches the ideal position required by the driver. The biggest advantage of electronic throttle control system is that it can achieve the optimal torque output in the whole range of the engine.
