How to adjust the carburetor of motorcycle

The adjustment method is to withdraw from one and a half to two and a half turns after screwing to the end, and the more you screw out, the thicker the mixture becomes. Screw in the mixture spiral of carburetor clockwise to dilute the mixture, and screw it out counterclockwise to make the mixture rich. The carburetor has a temperature-controlled thickening valve (i.e. electric damper), which will automatically thicken when it is started.

Motorcycle carburetor mostly adopts this form. There is also a carburetor that is a mixture of the two. The rotating throttle is controlled by people, and the lifting throttle is controlled by diaphragm, which is also often used on motorcycles and is called CV type.

Extended data:

A simple carburetor consists of three parts: the upper part has an air inlet and a float chamber, the middle part has a throat, a metering hole and a nozzle, and the lower part has a throttle. The float chamber is a rectangular container for storing gasoline from a gasoline pump. There is a float in the container, and the oil intake is controlled by the height (oil level) of the floating surface. The oil inlet at one end of the middle nozzle is communicated with the metering hole in the float chamber, and the oil outlet at the other end is located at the throat of the throat.

Initially atomized oil particles are mixed with air to form a "mixed gas", which enters the combustion chamber of the cylinder through the throttle valve, intake pipe and intake valve. Here, the throttle opening and engine speed determine the vacuum degree of the throat, and the throttle opening directly affects the proportion of the mixture, which is an important reason for affecting the engine operation.

As a precise mechanical device, carburetor uses the kinetic energy of inhaled airflow to atomize gasoline. Its important role in the engine can be called the "heart" of the engine.
