When do peanuts grow in the north?

From the end of April to the beginning of May, plastic film mulching cultivation can be slightly advanced by 7~ 10 days.

Peanut requires relatively high geological soil, so sandy loam land with relatively flat terrain and strong drainage ability should be chosen as the choice of peanut planting. Peanuts should not be planted any more. In the first year, the soil of peanut in China was not suitable for peanut continuous cropping. It is best to choose soil where peanuts have not been planted for several years.

In addition, the soil organic matter is greater than 1.0%, and the PH value of the soil should be between 6.5 and 7.5. Peanut planting also requires air quality, and the air pollution index is required to be less than 1. Only by meeting these geological conditions at the same time can it be possible to plant high-yield peanuts.

Classification of peanuts

According to the shape and skin color of peanut pods and seeds, they can be divided into three categories:

1, ordinary type?

Ordinary peanut stems and branches are thick, angular and hollow. Anthocyanins in stems and branches are not obvious and are green. The main stem is completely nutritious and does not bloom, belonging to alternate flowering branching type. There are many lateral branches, often with multiple branches, and the total branch can be as many as 20 or more. Leaflets are obovate with green or dark green leaves.

2. Multi-grain type?

The plant type of multi-grain peanut is erect and sparse. The stem is stout and tall, and there are 4-5 vegetative branches in the stem of the main stem, which grow upright in the early stage and tilt left and right in the later stage. All nodes can grow flowering branches, with few and long branches, few secondary branches, but no tertiary branches, and sparse and long hairs on the stems and branches. Most of them have anthocyanins, which are red or purple in the middle and late stages.

Seeds irregular or triangular, conical and cylindrical. There is a cross section near the seed. The color of seed coat is mostly red or purplish red.

3. Pearl bean type?

This type of peanut has thick stems and clumps, and its plant type is upright and compact. The main stem is higher, with fewer branches, and the total number of branches per plant does not exceed 10. Anthocyanins in stems and branches are not obvious, and the color is light and yellow-green. Leaflets are large, oval, light green or yellowish green. Flowering early, 7 true leaves of the main stem began to blossom, and the main stem blossomed.

Pods are small, cocoon-shaped or gourd-shaped. The shell is thin, the reticulation is fine, the mouth is obvious, the kernel is mostly peach-shaped and the peel is mostly pink.
