Check whether the solenoid valve of activated carbon tank can't be closed after being opened for a long time. Under normal circumstances, if the activated carbon system does not work, the solenoid valve should be closed.
Activated carbon tank is a device to collect fuel vapor in gasoline tank, and it is also a passage for gasoline tank to the atmosphere. In order to prevent the fuel vapor from polluting the air, the fuel vapor from the gasoline tank is collected and adsorbed by the activated carbon in the activated carbon tank, and then sent to the engine for combustion.
There is a pipeline from the activated carbon tank to the engine, and an electromagnetic valve is installed on the pipeline, which is controlled by the engine computer. When the engine accelerates and the speed is high, the activated carbon solenoid valve is opened, and the fuel vapor collected by activated carbon is sucked into the intake port through the vacuum of the intake port for re-combustion.
If the solenoid valve of the activated carbon canister is damaged, the normally open solenoid valve is not controlled by the engine computer, and a stream of air directly enters the intake pipe through the activated carbon canister and pipeline, but is not detected by the air flow meter, so that the engine computer receives an air flow signal that is smaller than the normal air flow, which reduces the fuel injection and dilutes the mixture, resulting in insufficient engine power and engine jitter.
