What about burning oil?

The combustion degree of engine oil is relatively low, so it can be left untreated first. If the situation of burning engine oil is serious, you must go to the repair shop or 4s shop for maintenance in time to prevent it from affecting the normal use of the car.

There are many reasons for burning engine oil, including engine carbon deposit not cleaned up in time, blocked oil filter, excessive oil addition, aging oil seals of front and rear crankshafts of automobiles, and blocked throttle and air filter.

Burning engine oil means that the engine oil enters the combustion chamber of the engine and burns with the fuel. When the car starts to burn engine oil, the car will have an increase in carbon deposition and the idle speed will be unstable. Acceleration is weak. Evidence such as increased fuel consumption and excessive exhaust gas will seriously damage the engine and reduce its service life.

Brief introduction of engine maintenance at ordinary times:

1, the engine oil with appropriate quality grade must be used, which is the key to ensure the normal operation of the engine.

2, need to pay attention to the temporary use of alternative petroleum products. If the engine oil supply is not available immediately or there is no suitable engine oil product, you can temporarily use an alternative engine oil product. But in use, we must strengthen observation. Pay attention to the oil quality and whether the oil filter is blocked. If there is any problem, please stop the machine immediately.

3. If oil with moderate viscosity is needed, oil with appropriate viscosity should be used according to local temperature. It is wrong to think that the higher the viscosity, the better. Because of the high viscosity, the oil flows too slowly when starting, which is easy to aggravate the wear of parts and even cause tile burning accidents.

4. When changing engine oil, waste oil must be discharged. In order to prolong the service life of the engine, the old engine oil must be completely drained when changing the engine oil, so as to avoid polluting the newly added engine oil, affecting the rapid deterioration of the new engine oil, and causing corrosion and wear of the engine. In most cases, waste engine oil is discharged at high temperature, then washing oil (85% of ordinary engine oil and 15% of gasoline) is added, idling for 10 minute after starting, then discharged, and finally clean new engine oil is added.

5. Keep the crankcase well ventilated. The gas entering the crankcase from the combustion chamber is corrosive, which will oxidize and deteriorate the engine oil and pollute the engine. Therefore, the crankcase must be well ventilated.
