Translation and appreciation of vernal equinox The vernal equinox is the equinox of 90 days in spring and one of the 24 solar terms. The Gregorian calendar is about March 20th every year.
Dong Zhongshu once said: "At the vernal equinox, Yin and Yang are also half-phase, so it is cold and hot day and night." On the vernal equinox, day and night are equally divided, and the whole spring is equally divided.
After the vernal equinox, the temperature rose rapidly, and the wind in Shui Rou was light. Especially in North China and Huanghuai Plain, the daily average temperature rises to above 10℃ almost at the same time as that in rainy areas along the Yangtze River and south of the Yangtze River, and enters a bright spring. On the vast land of the motherland, the willows are green on the shore, the grass grows in Fei Ying, the wheat is jointing, the rape blossoms are fragrant, the peach blossoms are red, and Li Bai is coming in spring. South China is a scene of late spring.
