How to Restrict Jig Cylinder

1. Use the external stop to complete the positioning. By using the stopper, the cylinder is positioned in the middle of the working stroke. The reliable method is to set a mechanical stop at the positioning point. This method is complicated to operate and requires high precision, but the adjustment is relatively troublesome. The setting of the stop should consider not only the strong stiffness, but also the buffer state of absorbing impact.

2. Multi-position cylinder method, using horizontal bar double-stroke cylinder, which is formed by connecting two horizontal bar double-acting cylinders in series with unequal strokes. When the valve positioning needs high precision, mechanical assistance, multi-position cylinder, brake cylinder and other methods can be used for auxiliary positioning.

3. Using the position of the locking cylinder for positioning, the cylinder can be locked in the middle. After locking, the force on both sides of the piston is balanced, so as to prevent the piston cylinder from extending out quickly due to the unbalanced force on the piston when unlocking, so as to avoid personal injury or equipment injury. Therefore, a one-way valve pressure relief valve should be set on the rodless side of the cylinder.

4. The control position is located by using a magnetic switch and a mechanical control valve. When the distance between the two magnetic switches on the cylinder changes, the detection stroke of the piston rod will change, and the mechanically controlled valve will control the cylinder to cycle repeatedly. If the distance between the two mechanical control valves changes, the telescopic stroke of the cylinder will also change.
