What's with the high engine temperature?

Coolant leakage or insufficient coolant will cause the engine water temperature to rise. At this point, we should check the condition of the coolant. If it is not enough, add it to a suitable position first, and then check whether the liquid level drops seriously in a few days. If so, then we should find the location of the leak.

2, cooling fan failure

If the cooling fan fails, when the vehicle runs at high speed, the generated heat cannot be transferred to the antifreeze in time, which will affect the heat dissipation, and then lead to the temperature rise of the antifreeze, leading to boiling and other problems.

3, circulating water pump failure

There are several kinds of pump failures, such as bearing locking and impeller damage. Bearing locking is rare, and impeller damage is common, such as impeller cracking or impeller loosening from the pump shaft, which leads to slow coolant circulation and easy to cause engine temperature to be too high.

4, thermostat failure

The function of the thermostat is to automatically adjust the amount of water entering the radiator according to the temperature of cooling water, and change the circulating range of water, so as to adjust the cooling capacity of the cooling system and ensure the engine to work in a suitable temperature range. If the thermostat fails, the automobile cooling system may not be able to carry out a large cycle, resulting in an increase in water temperature.

5. Poor heat dissipation of water tank

I believe that some car owners have tried to use water as coolant once or twice, and the problem is not big. Remember to clean the cooling system and then change the coolant. If water is used as the medium for a long time, the engine and water tank will rust, and poor heat dissipation of water tank will lead to high water temperature.
