The throttle position sensor is also called throttle opening sensor or throttle switch. Its main function is to detect whether the engine is in idle or load condition, acceleration or deceleration condition. It is essentially a variable resistor and several switches installed on the throttle body. According to different working conditions, the opening is different. The signal voltage output by the electronic throttle is between 0.5 and 4.5V, and the voltages less than 0.5V and greater than 4.5V are used to identify the short circuit and open circuit of the line.
