Is it too late to plant cabbage in Bailu?
Chinese cabbage is a typical winter vegetable, which is usually planted around September, and the most suitable growth temperature is 5-25℃. In this temperature environment, the wrapped heart is more compact and will not rot.
Chinese cabbage is very resistant to low temperature, but it will suffer from freezing injury when it reaches -8℃. Warm measures should be taken in winter to avoid frostbite of cabbage. The ambient temperature is controlled above 5℃ to ensure the normal growth and development of plants.
Chinese cabbage is suitable for planting in loam, sandy loam and black loess with rich organic matter, but not in sandy soil which is easy to leak water and feces, and even less in clay with poor drainage.
