How to Adjust the Diesel Power Electronic Throttle

The throttle of diesel engine changes the fuel supply by controlling the pre-tightening force of the speed regulating spring on the governor of high-pressure oil pump. This is the traditional mechanical high-pressure oil pump oil supply. The high-pressure rail electronic control injection system uses the throttle position sensor to input signals to the electronic control unit (ECU), and the ECU controls the fuel supply.

The electronic throttle uses a wire harness (wire) instead of a cable or a pull rod, a micro motor is installed on the throttle, and the throttle opening is driven by the motor. The so-called "wire transmission" means replacing the original mechanical transmission mechanism with wire.

Among the internal components of motor vehicles, the device that controls the fuel supply of internal combustion engine is called throttle. Its function is to manipulate the throttle opening to control the flow of combustible mixture and change the speed and power of the engine to meet the needs of automobile driving.

The traditional engine throttle control mechanism works through a cable (soft steel wire) or a pull rod. One end of the cable is connected with the accelerator pedal, and the other end is connected with the accelerator linkage plate.

However, the application of this traditional throttle valve is limited and lacks accuracy. With the rapid development of automotive electronic technology, Electronic Throttle (EGAS) came into being.

Electronic throttle is an electronic control device that transmits the signal of the depth and speed of stepping on the throttle through a position sensor, so as to realize the throttle function.

This signal will be received and interpreted by the on-board microcomputer, and then a control command will be issued, requiring the throttle to open the angle it should open quickly or gently according to the command. This process is accurate and fast. There will be no mechanical wear problem.
