There is no wind, when it doesn't rain, the sun is shining, and bamboo is elegant and beautiful.

Favorite guests who are cool at night, a pot of new tea soaked in pineapple.

A few new bamboo trees and a few looming mountains.

It's just Tomb-Sweeping Day, even in Grain Rain, sitting there with a cup of fragrant teas.

Translation:

No wind and no rain is a sunny season, and bamboo stands upright and grows section by section. I like this cold weather best. When guests visit, I make a pot of good pineapple tea to entertain them. Enjoy paintings and poems with guests, and spread paper and splash ink when you are in the mood. You draw a few rustling leaves and bamboos first, and then use a few strokes of light ink to sweep the mountain. Crossing the Qingming fence, Grain Rain is connected by solar terms, and you sit inside and enjoy tea.

Grain Rain is the sixth of the 24 solar terms and the last solar term in spring, which comes from the old saying "Rain gives birth to a hundred valleys".

In ancient China, Grain Rain was divided into three stages: "The first stage was when Ping was born; The second time, the cuckoo blows feathers; The third class is Dai Ren's surrender. " After Grain Rain, rainfall increased, duckweed began to grow, then cuckoo began to remind people to sow, and then Dai Sheng birds began to be seen on mulberry trees.

It is said that drinking tea in Grain Rain will clear fire and ward off evil spirits, so there is a custom of picking tea in Grain Rain in the south. No matter what the weather is in Grain Rain, people will go to Chashan to pick some new tea to drink in order to pray for health.

Grain Rain tea, that is, tea before rain, is spring tea picked in Grain Rain season, also called spring catechu. The moderate temperature and abundant rainfall in spring, coupled with the recuperation of tea trees in winter for half a year, make the buds and leaves of spring shoots plump, green in color, soft in leaves, rich in vitamins and amino acids, and make spring tea taste fresh and fragrant.
