Why is the solar term forecast in China so accurate?

Because China's ancient society attached importance to agriculture and restrained commerce, and was in the period of agricultural civilization, the whole country paid more attention to agricultural harvest, so rulers and people of all dynasties paid more attention to the change of weather.

The solar terms formulated by the ancients in China and the solar calendar used now are the same principle, which can also be regarded as a kind of coupling. Therefore, the dates of the solar terms and the solar calendar we are using now will generally not be staggered, at most one or two days before and after.

The twenty-four solar terms of the lunar calendar are supplementary calendars formulated by China to guide farming in ancient times, and they are the crystallization of the long-term experience and wisdom of the working people of the ancient Han nationality.
