How to judge that the accelerator of a car is dirty?

The most obvious symptom of dirty throttle in Pacific Auto Network is engine power. When the car is unstable at idle speed, difficult to start and the power drops, it means that the throttle of the car is dirty and may need to be cleaned. If it cannot be cleaned, the throttle valve needs to be replaced.

In fact, there is no strict limit on the cleaning frequency of the throttle. The time to clean the throttle is closely related to the car habit and driving environment. Under normal circumstances, the 4S shop will advise the owner to clean the throttle at about 20,000 kilometers. Different models have different situations, but if the throttle is dirty, you should consider cleaning the throttle.

At present, most cars have electronic throttles, that is, the throttle is opened at a small angle to provide air intake at idle speed. This part of the air intake is provided by a small gap between the valve plate and the pipeline, and this position will be affected if it is dirty. Too much carbon deposit will block part of the air intake gap. In order to maintain normal idle speed, the engine will further learn to increase the throttle opening, but the fuel consumption will increase after the throttle opening becomes larger.
