The cleaning steps of throttle body are as follows

Turn off the engine after warming up, remove the throttle body and check whether the surface of the throttle body is damaged. Block the intake side of the bypass passage of the throttle body, and do not let the cleaning agent enter the bypass passage. Soak the throttle body in the cleaning agent for 5 minutes, and start the engine to run at idle speed for 65438 0 minutes. Necessity of throttle cleaning

After the EFI gasoline engine has been used for a certain mileage, a large amount of sludge will accumulate on the surface of throttle or idle speed stabilizing valve, resulting in unstable idle speed. Especially when the air conditioner and headlights are turned on, the phenomenon of flameout may occur when driving in severe cases.

The main reason is that the exhaust gas in the engine crankcase (including gasoline vapor) can only enter the intake manifold through the throttle valve or the idle speed stabilizing valve, and then enter the cylinder for combustion.

At the same time, after the air passes through the air filter, it also contains a small amount of fine particles (mainly dust). When passing through the throttle or idle stabilizing valve, this part of particles can easily combine with gasoline vapor in crankcase exhaust and attach to the surface of the throttle or idle stabilizing valve.

With the extension of engine working hours, more and more fouling will directly affect the idle speed to a certain extent, leading to unstable idle speed and increased fuel consumption.

The throttle or idle stabilizing valve should be cleaned every 30,000-40,000 km. In addition to the need to clean the throttle or idle speed stabilizing valve when the idle speed is unstable. It can also be cleaned regularly like normal maintenance before failure. If the use environment is harsh and dusty, it is recommended to clean it every 20000km. In areas where the use environment is relatively clean, it can be cleaned every 30000-40000km.
