Cultivation method of Xiao Ju National Day

There are three common problems in pot planting on National Day in Xiao Ju: First, the phenomenon of "bare legs". There are few leaves in the middle and lower parts, and the stems are exposed, which is very ugly. Second, the plants are too tall and top-heavy to meet the requirements. Third, the flowering period is not well controlled and cannot meet the demand for holiday flowers. In view of the above three problems, the author has taken the following measures in practice:

First, two cuttings: cuttings of field seedlings in late April and new cuttings in late May. One of the reasons for the phenomenon of "bare legs" is the poor germination ability of the lower part of cutting seedlings. Due to the adoption of the new cuttings, the cuttings have higher germination ability and will not appear "bare legs" phenomenon.

2. After Xiao Ju entered the potted plant management, the first coring was carried out in June 10, and 300ppm paclobutrazol (or 2000ppm B9) and 0. 1% 70% thiophanate methyl (or carbendazim) were sprayed the next day after coring. The second and third coring and spraying were carried out on June 25th and July 10, with the same method as the first one. After three treatments, most of Xiao Ju's height can be controlled. Third, flowering control Most people use traditional methods, taking beginning of autumn as the last solar term. For the National Day chrysanthemums, the last time to pick the heart must be in the middle and late July, and it should be advanced or postponed according to different varieties, that is, the summer heat is the last solar term to pick the heart, so as to ensure that the National Day flowers will not be delayed.
