When will peanuts be sown?
There is a saying in the agricultural proverb that "before and after Qingming, plant melons and beans".
In the Yellow River valley, seeds are usually sown around Tomb-Sweeping Day, and peanut farmers who sow during this period are called "spring peanuts". There are also interplanting peanuts in wheat fields, which are sown before and after "awn seeds", which farmers call "interplanting peanuts". Peanuts are sown in late April to early May in spring.
