A, the use of pneumatic motor conditions

Pneumatic motor input gas pressure (standard working pressure is 0.63Mpa) and flow (M3/ min or liter/min), output speed (r/min) and torque (NM). In order to ensure the normal operation of the pneumatic motor and meet its design requirements (i.e. rotational speed and torque), the input air pressure and flow rate of the pneumatic motor (i.e. air consumption of the pneumatic motor) must be ensured, otherwise the pneumatic motor cannot work normally.

The standard working pressure of pneumatic motor is 0.63Mpa, which may lead to damage or accident of pneumatic motor. Below this pressure, the pneumatic motor can't meet the design requirements, the speed and torque will decrease, and the pneumatic motor can't work normally.

Each pneumatic motor needs a certain amount of air consumption, so it is required that: (1) the air supply of air source (air compressor) is greater than the sum of air consumption of pneumatic motors, cylinders and other pneumatic machinery; (2) The effective cross-sectional area of the ventilation pipe of the pneumatic motor should not be less than the cross-sectional area of the air inlet of the pneumatic motor; (3) Flow parameters of pneumatic components (oil mist eliminator, filter and various control valves, etc.) installed in the air supply pipeline of the pneumatic motor. ) is greater than the gas consumption of the pneumatic motor. Otherwise, the pneumatic motor will not operate normally.

Pneumatic motor is a high-speed machine. In order to ensure that the pneumatic motor is fully lubricated during operation, it is necessary to install an oil mist device in the air inlet pipeline and use special oil for pneumatic tools or 20# mechanical oil. Use one or two drops of oil every second and fill the oil mist device in time. Insufficient supply of lubricating oil will lead to accidents such as damage of pneumatic motor parts and shortened service life. The oil mist ejector should be as close as possible to the pneumatic motor.

The gas supplied to the pneumatic motor should be kept clean and dry. Therefore, a gas-water separator and a filtering device should be installed in the gas supply pipeline. Dirty and excessive moisture in the supply gas is likely to cause damage to the pneumatic motor. When installing the pneumatic motor pipeline, it is necessary to clean the sundries in the trachea, and the pipeline and filter should be cleaned regularly.

Second, the air supply system

1, selection principle of air compressor (or unit)

1) Output air pressure selection:

The operating pressure of pneumatic machinery such as pneumatic motor, plus pipeline loss, is generally 0.6Mpa~0.8Mpa.

2) Selection of output flow:

The demand for compressed air in the whole pneumatic system, plus a certain spare allowance and pipeline loss, is the basis for selecting the displacement of air compressor (or unit).

2. Purification of compressed air

Although the compressed air provided by the air compressor can meet certain pressure and flow requirements, in general, it cannot be directly used by pneumatic devices such as pneumatic motors. It is necessary to remove oil, water, dust and dry to ensure the quality of compressed air and make pneumatic devices such as pneumatic motors work normally.

3. Gas transmission pipeline

The purified compressed air will be delivered to pneumatic devices, such as pneumatic motors, through air pipelines, so the requirements for air pipelines are as follows:

1) pressure resistance: compressed air has pressure, so the pipeline should meet the requirements of gas pressure;

2) Cleanliness: ensure the cleanliness of the inner wall of the trachea, remove the dust, rust and other sundries in the trachea, and prevent the secondary pollution of compressed air;

3) Diameter: The inner diameter of the gas transmission pipeline is determined according to the maximum flow rate and maximum allowable pressure loss of compressed air, and its flow rate should be limited to 30m/s, and the diameter can be calculated according to the following formula:

4) In order to ensure that pneumatic devices such as pneumatic motors are not damaged, prevent the secondary pollution of compressed air, and meet the needs of lubrication and pressure regulation, pneumatic triple parts, namely filter, pressure gauge and oil mist device, must also be set at the air inlet front end of pneumatic motors.

Four, the installation and maintenance of pneumatic motor

Pneumatic motor is a kind of precision power machinery, and it is forbidden to knock or disassemble it when installing. It does not bear axial force.

Please install and use the pneumatic motor when using it.

Before connecting the gas pipe, the pressurized gas should be turned on first, and the dust and sundries in the pipe should be removed by the pressure of the gas to ensure the cleanliness of the gas pipe.

The inner diameter of the air pipe must be greater than or equal to the diameter of the air inlet of the air motor to ensure air supply.

Lubricating oil (20# mechanical oil) must be added to the injector in time to ensure the lubrication of the pneumatic motor.

It is necessary to ensure the coaxiality of the output shaft of the pneumatic motor and the input shaft of the driving object (host).

The designer of the main engine should formulate safety operation rules according to the characteristics of the pneumatic motor to ensure the safe operation of the whole machine. Install an emergency stop device in a convenient place, just in case.

During installation, repair and maintenance, the air valve must be closed and the air source must be cut off before it can work.

No-load continuous high-speed operation of the pneumatic motor is allowed (if necessary, it is best not to exceed half a minute), otherwise the service life of the pneumatic motor will be shortened or damaged.

Air leakage is not allowed at the interface between the air supply pipeline and the pneumatic components to ensure the air supply quality of the pneumatic motor.

The exhaust port of the pneumatic motor can be equipped with a matching muffler, but it can't be completely blocked, otherwise it will affect the operation of the pneumatic motor.

For bi-directional rotary pneumatic motors, when one air inlet takes air, the other air inlet becomes a negative air outlet, which shall not be blocked. It is best to use a three-position four-way valve, otherwise the pneumatic motor will not work normally.

The pneumatic motor should be maintained and cleaned regularly, and the wearing parts should be replaced. So as to ensure the normal operation of the pneumatic motor.

Air motors that have not been used for a long time can inject a little lubricating oil from the air inlet.
