How to disassemble Zotye Damai x5 thermostat?

1, thermostat position. Thermostats are mostly located on the right side of the engine (viewed from the front of the engine) and connected to the radiator sewer pipe.

2. The thermostat of this car is located at the lower left of the air filter box, and the operation space is narrow, so the air filter box must be removed first.

3. Remove the air filter box and you can clearly see the thermostat assembly. Before removing the thermostat, remove the water pipe buckle and pull out the water pipe.

4. The aluminum shell of thermostat is fixed on the cylinder by two screws. Remove the screw and pull out the aluminum shell, and you can see the rusty thermostat core. Pull out the thermostat core, clean the interface and replace it with a new thermostat core. If the thermostat aluminum shell gasket is aging, it must also be replaced.

5. Fill the antifreeze. It's over.
