The mixture adjusting screw of the carburetor of scooter is on the right side of the carburetor (that is, the right side of the car), so it is inconvenient to adjust it on the car. Before adjustment, the carburetor clamp must be loosened properly and the carburetor should be tilted to the left with a short screwdriver. Usually, screw the screw to the end and then pull it out for three and a half turns.

However, according to experience, if the mixture is very thick, the screw for adjusting the mixture alone often does not work. It is best to open the cover on the top of the carburetor and take out the plunger connected to the rubber diaphragm. Unscrew the clamp for fixing the oil needle in the plunger with a small screwdriver, take out the oil needle, remove the clamp on the oil needle, and move it to a groove for installation test. If you refuel in an emergency, you can't see the black smoke from the exhaust pipe, which means that the mixture is not strong. If it still doesn't work, it will decompose. Reduce the oil level of the oiler (this requires certain professional knowledge, and it is best to ask the master to do it). Ride for a distance at medium speed and unscrew the spark plug. If it is found that the electrode color is brick red, it means that the mixture has moderate concentration and good combustion, and it will also save fuel. If it is white, it will cause the car to be cold or the machine to be hot. If it is dark, it will emit black smoke. If it is thick and thin, it is not good to increase fuel consumption.
