The pressure drop at the throttle joint of Passat supercharger is caused by the damage of exhaust check valve or the leakage of booster pipe. The main function of the check valve is to prevent gas from flowing back to the crankcase of the engine. Failure or damage will lead to air leakage and insufficient pressure.

The reasons for insufficient supercharger pressure are as follows:

1. The air filter of the turbocharger is blocked, which increases the suction loss and leads to insufficient boost pressure. After using 1500-3000 hours, the air filter should be thoroughly cleaned in the 4s shop.

2. There is too much grease in the air passage inside the compressor. When the airflow passes through the channel with more grease, it will increase the airflow resistance and reduce the pressurization pressure. You should go to the 4s shop to clean up the grease stains in the passage.

3. Due to poor fuel combustion, carbon deposition occurs in the rotor part, or the bearing of the supercharger is damaged, and the rotating resistance of the supercharger increases, which will also cause the pressure of the supercharger to decrease.
