The problem of Brazilian tortoise

The hibernation period is not completely over, because the temperature is not enough, it will get better around mid-April. It's not the peak season for turtles' appetite. Remind you not to feed turtle food. Turtle food is just a tool used by vendors to make money. It has no nutrition at all (unless you buy genuine products, but it is expensive), and turtles will not eat them.

If the turtle you buy is very small, it should not catch live food. You can feed it with a toothpick with lean meat the size of a grain of rice (once a day) and rub it in front of its nose, and it will eat, but some turtles are slow to respond, so you should be patient. When they grow up, you can feed them some live fish and shrimp. These foods are rich in calcium, which is beneficial to the growth of soft-shelled turtles.

The tortoise is a timid animal. Usually it should be placed in a quiet place, but now it may be because of the cold weather. It's not very active.
