Fourth, the process of making tea.

The Bulang people in Zhang Lang Shanzhai still retain the original tea-making method for thousands of years. The traditional hand-made tea making methods of Bulang nationality are as follows:

The first kind:

Stir-fry fresh tea leaves in a pot, put them on bamboo sticks or mats, knead them into strips with both hands, and finally put them on a broom or dustpan to dry. People call it sun-dried green tea.

The second type:

Stir-fry fresh tea leaves in a pot with both hands, then put them in a bamboo tube while they are hot and tie them tightly with a wooden stick. Finally, put the bamboo tube on the fire pit and bake it. After the bamboo tube skin is burnt, you can break the bamboo tube and take out the tea leaves, and store them for several years before drinking. This kind of tea soup is brownish red in color and unique in aroma, so people call it agarwood bamboo tube tea.

The third kind:

Put fresh tea leaves in a pot with boiling water, put the cooked tea leaves in the dark for more than ten days to ferment the tea leaves, then put the tea leaves in a bamboo tube and bury them in a pre-dug pit, and then take them out for about a month. This kind of tea is called "Mian", commonly known as "sour tea". Sour tea is not a drink but a food, that is, putting sour tea in your mouth. It is said that one or two pieces of sour tea can be put in your mouth for a day without drinking water, and sour tea can quench your thirst. At the same time, sour tea is not only an important gift in life, but also an important social media.

The fourth kind:

Pickled tea leaves. There are two ways to make masked tea. One method is to cook the collected fresh tea leaves with water, then put them into a bamboo tube filled with appropriate amount of water, and finally seal them with banana leaves. Marinate for more than ten days and you can eat it. Another method is to cook fresh tea leaves with glutinous rice balls, then dry them, then mix them with cold rice soup, and finally put them in bamboo tubes for more than ten days. Pickled tea is not a drink but a food, which can be eaten as a dish or a snack.

The fifth type:

Make green tea. Bamboo and tea are prepared at the same time. First, put the water into the green bamboo tube, then put the bamboo tube next to the fire pit for baking, and put the fresh tea leaves on the fire pit for barbecue with bamboo clips. When the tea leaves are roasted by Huang's family, they are boiled in a bamboo tube and can be drunk after the water is boiled.

The tea produced by five methods of Bulang nationality has a unique flavor. Edible tea has both the green fragrance of tea and the sour taste of kimchi. Drinking bamboo tea has different soup color and aroma, which is unique.
