PLC control cylinder problem

If the designed moving distance is the maximum pushing distance of the cylinder, the energizing time of the solenoid valve of the cylinder can be controlled by timing (the holding solenoid valve must be used). If the expected push-out distance of the cylinder is not equal to the maximum push-out distance of the cylinder, the time relay cannot be used. The change of air pressure \ resistance will lead to the uncertainty of the push-out distance.

In unimportant occasions, the magnetic switch of the cylinder can be used for control. In highly reliable occasions, it is necessary to connect an external proximity switch for detection. The reliability of the magnetic switch of that cylinder is not high. Small changes in the relative positions of magnets may lead to unreliable magnetic switch signals.
