Control strategy of idle speed control

1. Provide ideal idle air volume under all possible working conditions.

2, timely compensation for engine load changes.

3. Keep the lowest idle speed and control the deceleration air volume to achieve good fuel economy.

4. Improve the emission by increasing the air volume during sudden deceleration.

5. Improve the driving performance of the vehicle.

6. The difference caused by aging of parts and the difference of each vehicle can be automatically compensated, reducing the requirement of periodic adjustment.

Start-up control: when the engine starts, the idle control system controls the idle actuator to maximize the bypass air intake to facilitate the start-up; After startup, determine the bypass air inlet according to the cooling water temperature.

Warm-up control: In the warm-up stage, the idle speed control system constantly adjusts the bypass air intake according to the change of cooling water temperature, so as to keep the engine at a stable speed under the change of temperature state.

Idle speed feedback control: When the warm-up process is over, or ECU detects the signal that the throttle valve is fully closed and the vehicle speed is lower than 2km/h, the idle speed control system starts to carry out idle speed feedback control.

Idle speed control when electrical load increases: When the number of electrical appliances used at the same time increases, the idle speed control system should also increase the bypass air intake accordingly to improve the idle speed of the engine.
