Phyllostachys praecox, Dianthus caryophyllus, Phyllostachys pubescens and Phyllostachys pubescens grown in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces; Phyllostachys pubescens growing in southern provinces.

Dendrocalamus species are native to Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Guizhou and Yunnan; Green bamboo grows in Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Taiwan Province and Zhejiang. Dendrocalamus davidianus and Dendrocalamus davidianus grown in Guangdong and Guangxi; Cizhu grows in Guangxi, Hunan, Hubei, Guizhou, Sichuan and Yunnan. Cizhu Liangshan grows in Guangxi, Guizhou and Sichuan.

The species of bamboos are from Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian and other places, as well as from Guangdong, Guangxi, Sichuan and Guizhou. The variety of bitter bamboo is Phyllostachys pubescens, which grows in the southeast coast.
