What month is leap month today?
Finally, which month is a leap month depends on the 24 solar terms in a year. In the China lunar calendar, the 24 solar terms are divided into 12 solar terms and 12 solar terms (e.g. fright/vernal equinox, etc. If a lunar month has only solar terms and no neutral atmosphere, the calendar will regard that month as a leap month of last month.
Take 2006 as an example. There is a solar term just after July of the lunar calendar, but there is no neutral month. You can set leap July to adjust the error. Generally, there will be a month without neutral gas every two years or so, which coincides with the year when leap month is needed, so the month without neutral gas is called leap month according to the lunar calendar.
How to calculate leap month
Leap month is not called March, but after which month it is called "leap month". Generally speaking, leap month refers to the same month after February to 10.
According to the formula m×365.2422=n×29.5306, it can be known that 19 tropic year must add 7 leap months. Therefore, the lunar calendar adopts the method of 19 plus 7 leap months, that is, "19 year 7 leap method".
