The six solar terms in summer are: long summer, full summer, awn seed, summer solstice, slight summer heat and great summer heat.

1, changxia

The sun is located at 45 degrees of the yellow meridian, and the solar term is May 5-7. Long summer means the beginning of summer. However, the temperature varies from place to place, and the time of entering summer is actually inconsistent. According to climatology, the five-day average temperature is higher than 22℃ as the standard in summer.

2. Xiaoman

The sun is located at 60 degrees of the yellow meridian, and the solar term is May 20-22: Xiaoman means that summer crops such as wheat are filled and the seeds are full. Agricultural proverbs in Sichuan basin give Xiaoman a new meaning: "Xiaoman is not satisfied, he thinks about it"; "Xiao is full of discontent, regardless of mango."

3. Miscanthus

The sun is located at 75 degrees of the yellow meridian and intersects on June 5-7. The awn seed is a solar term, which represents the maturity of awned crops such as wheat and reflects the agricultural phenology. By the time of the awning, the wheat harvest season in Sichuan Basin has passed, and the transplanting of mid-season rice and sweet potato is coming to an end.
