Where is the location of Huanggang Dong Village?

Huanggang Dong Village is located in Shuangjiang Township, at the junction of congjiang county and Liping County, 33 kilometers away from Congjiang County. This is an unknown Dong village hidden in the mountains, where Dong songs, folk customs and scenery rank first in Congjiang.

There are more than 300 families in Huanggang Dong Village. Surprisingly, there are five Drum Towers here. In a two-story building, a drum tower more than ten meters high stands out from the crowd, not to mention five. Drum Tower is a place to unify the nation. According to legend, Huanggang's drunken ancestors were five brothers. Later, the five brothers flourished and evolved into five major ethnic groups, so five drum towers were built. The Drum Tower in Huanggang is unique. Each Drum Tower is hung with a wooden board with 24 solar terms written on it for everyone to master the solar terms. Each drum tower has two dragons, which are lifelike.

Huanggang is the only Dong village that celebrated Shoutian Festival. It is called Tianjie, also called Rain Festival. In Dong language, it is called Xie Saxiang, which means offering sacrifices to Leipo. The magic of Shoutian Festival is that if it is sunny before the ceremony, it will rain after the ceremony; If it is rainy before the ceremony, it will be sunny after the ceremony. It's been many years, and it works every time. After that, they began to set a long table to toast each other. In the evening, the famous Dong songs began, which was very lively.
