What should be taught in the traditional culture class in primary schools?

In the teaching content, we should teach the content of traditional culture courses in primary schools: in the lower grades of basic education, it is suggested to choose enlightenment books and rhyme books such as Disciple Rules, Sanzi Jing, Ganzi Wen and Enlightenment of Rhyme, supplemented by China Lunar Calendar and festivals, Chinese paper-cutting and Peking Opera facial makeup.

On the educational goal, we should make clear the positive role of traditional culture in cultivating teenagers' sound personality. The teaching goal of this subject should be to cultivate young people's "good behavior norms, profound philosophical thoughts, simple moral conduct and elegant aesthetic taste" through traditional culture, and the subject should establish a Chinese-style personality education curriculum system.
