Which Sambo is Nanyang Sambo?

The three treasures of Nanyang refer to jade carvings, pyrography and models.

"Nanyang Sambo" is a precious gift from the hospitable Nanyang people to relatives and friends in other places. Nanyang, Henan Province is Zhuge Liang's seclusion place, where dushan jade, one of the four famous jade in China, has a long history and unique pyrography, and the national hero Yue Fei inscribed "Set an example". They are the special products and cultural heritage that Nanyang people are proud of, so they are called "Nanyang Three Treasures".

Dushan jade (Nanyang Jade) is produced in Dushan, Nanyang, Henan Province, also known as "Nanyang Jade" or "Henan Jade" and "Duyu". Dushan jade is one of the "Four Famous Jade in China" because of its bright color and good transparency. The emerald variety of high-grade jade is similar to Burmese jade, so it has the reputation of "Nanyang jade". Generally, Duyu is mainly used to carve bracelets, rings, necklaces and other furnishings and ornaments.
