What kind of oil is blending oil

Blending oil, also known as high blending oil, is an edible oil which is made by blending more than two kinds of refined oils (except seasoning oil) in proportion according to the needs of use.

Blended oil is transparent and can be used for frying, frying, frying, frying or cold salad. Generally, there are refined soybean oil, rapeseed oil, peanut oil, sunflower oil and cottonseed oil. Rice is selected as the main raw material, and special oils such as refined rice bran oil, corn germ oil, tea seed oil, safflower seed oil and wheat germ oil can also be added.

Selection of edible oil

First look at the processing technology:

The processing technology of edible oil is generally divided into squeezing and leaching.

The cost of pressing process is high, and oil is separated from raw materials by pressure in a purely physical way, which retains more nutrients and produces less harmful substances in the production process.

The cost of leaching process is low, that is, the raw materials are dissolved in organic solvents and then extracted at high temperature. Solvent residues are inevitable in the leaching process, so it is recommended to buy edible oil from the squeezing process when purchasing.

In general, the price of edible oil in pressing process is higher than that in leaching process.

Second, look at the nutrients:

All the packages of edible oil are marked with nutrients. Let's focus here: the higher the content of fat and vitamin E, the better the nutrients and the higher the quality of oil.

Then look at the content of cholesterol and sodium, which must be zero. If not, the quality is not good and it is not recommended for the elderly.
