Honghe county folk custom
Every year on the first monkey day after transplanting rice in March of the lunar calendar, riders hold the "March Festival", which is called "Daughter's Day" by the outside world and "yang a Na" in Hani language.
On Daughter's Day, early in the morning, people from ten villages and eight villages gathered in Hongdu Mountain (Daughter Mountain) of Mencius. The venerable elders in the village organize sacrificial ceremonies, and mature men prepare meals for guests from afar. Young men and women dressed in costumes are dancing in the car, playing flutes, playing strings, singing folk songs and looking for partners. Guests from afar watched Cheyi people's unique sacrificial activities, original ecological song and dance performances, the taste of Che Yi, the whole daughter mountain, singing and laughing.
Axiyue Festival
April 8 in the solar calendar is the "Axi Moon Dance Festival" of the Axi people, a branch of the Yi nationality. Axiyue Dance is the most popular and proud folk dance among the Axi people, a branch of Yi nationality. It is an indispensable dance for the Assisi to hold various celebrations, and it is also an important medium for the Assisi to entertain, communicate and choose a spouse. A Xi dances on the moon, which is divided into old dance and young dance.
Huashan Festival
Every year, the second day of the first lunar month is a traditional Miao festival-Huashan Festival, also known as "stepping on Huashan Mountain".
Huashan Festival has four procedures: vertical pole, sacrificial pole, disturbing pole and closing pole, and each procedure has specific contents. Among them, "Sacrificing the Pole" is mainly a solemn ceremony, while "Noisy Pole" is a warm folk celebration. During the "disturbing the pole" period, Miao compatriots danced Lusheng dance, practiced martial arts, sang folk songs in pairs, and held competitions such as pole climbing, bullfighting, backward kicking, top playing and thrush playing. National costume is a symbol of a country's image. Hani women wear short coats with wide left collars and buttons with strips of cloth, silver coins and beads. Lower body wear varies from place to place, including pants, shorts and folding skirts. When dressing, wear a vest, tie flowers around the waist, tie flowers with leggings, use silver chains and strings as breastpieces, wear silver earrings or earrings, and wear silver bracelets or twisted bracelets on your wrists. After giving birth to a child, women usually wrap their braids around them and wrap their heads with green or blue cloth. Girls' clothes are often braided, wearing small hats made of blue cloth or blue cloth inlaid with silver bubbles and beads.
