Article 41 The maximum period of probation shall not exceed two years. A Party member shall not have the right to vote, vote or be elected during the period of probation. If a Party member, after being placed on probation, has corrected his mistakes, his rights as a Party member shall be restored; if he persists in his mistakes, he shall be expelled from the Party.

In special cases, the Party committees and disciplinary inspection committees at the county level and above have the right to decide directly to give disciplinary punishments to Party members.
For members and alternate members of the Party's Central Committee, the imposition of warnings and serious warnings shall be considered by the Standing Committee of the Central Discipline Inspection Committee and reported to the Party Central Committee for approval. The imposition of warnings and serious warnings on members and alternate members of the Party's committees at local levels shall be approved by the Discipline Inspection Committee at the next higher level and reported to its counterpart Party committee for the record.
