Guangxi's cultural heritage:

Cantonese opera is spread in the Cantonese-speaking region of Guangxi, and during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, there were opera troupes performing in Wuzhou, Guangxi. From the late Qing Dynasty to the 1940s, Cantonese opera performances flourished in Guangxi. The major piers through which the Xijiang River flows became important venues for Cantonese opera performances.

Guizhou Opera is the main local opera in Guangxi, popular in some of the official areas around Guilin City, Liuzhou City and Hechi City in Guangxi, spreading to the southern part of Hunan Province. Guinan Caicha Opera is a Han Chinese local opera mainly circulating in Yulin, Qinzhou, Hezhou and Guigang in Guangxi, with a history of nearly 500 years.

Ethnic minority dramas and local plays: Zhuang Opera, Zhuang Huan, Caixiang Opera, Yong Opera, Miao Opera, Maonan Opera, Zhuang String Puppetry, Zhuang Shigong Opera.

Guangxi cuisine:

Guangxi daily diet is mainly light, but the territory of the north and south there are slight changes in the southeast of Gui Yulin, Wuzhou, Hezhou, Nanning, Beihai, Qinzhou and other mainly light, in the north of Liuzhou, Guilin and other parts of the country have the habit of eating spicy. According to the traveler Xu Xiake recorded, Guangxi territory due to the geographical environment, its early diet has been planted to eat rice and vegetables, pickles, tea, wine rituals and other habits.
