At the opening ceremony of Inner Mongolia Activity Week, literary and art workers from Inner Mongolia presented wonderful performances to the guests. The musical Love in the Heart, the national intangible cultural heritage, Horqin Wedding, and the folk song and dance Horseback Passion opened the curtain of Inner Mongolia Activity Week.

Before the opening ceremony, the leaders of the two places visited the China Pavilion, Inner Mongolia Pavilion and Shanghai Pavilion. After the opening ceremony, the "Towards Happiness" street parade showing Inner Mongolia culture was held in the Expo Park. During the activity week, a series of performances with national characteristics will show the unique folk literature and art of Inner Mongolia and the simple and heroic grassland customs. In the exhibition of "China Elements", folk craftsmen will perform traditional folk arts such as Mongolian string instrument making, rope art (weaving), bone carving, bow and arrow, birch bark, Mongolian boots, sand painting and harness making, so that the audience can get in touch with the intangible cultural heritage of Inner Mongolia at zero distance and appreciate the unique charm of grassland civilization.
