Different from the traditional classroom demonstration of theoretical teaching, the demonstration of theoretical teaching is to let students gain perceptual knowledge and deepen their understanding of theoretical knowledge; But the teacher's demonstration of the four-stage method should let all the students know how the teacher does it, and then they should do the same.

Student imitation

In the third stage, students' behavior is dominant. First, the teacher chooses three students, one is good, the other is average and the other is poor. The student repeats the professor's demonstration steps and, if necessary, explains what he is doing and why. Teachers can also add some supplementary explanations. Teachers observe students' imitation process, get information feedback from it, and understand students' understanding and mastery. If the students' imitation is completely correct, they can go to the next stage, otherwise they will repeat the second and third stages.

Inductive exercise

The teacher arranges some exercises for students to complete independently, and supervises and observes the whole process of the exercises, recognizes the results of the exercises and corrects the mistakes. In the fourth stage, the proportion of teachers and students' behavior is basically the same.
