Who are the manufacturers of hib vaccine?

At present, there are only two manufacturers of hib vaccine in China, namely, Lanzhou Institute of Biological Products and Yunnan Watson.

These three foreign manufacturers are basically the main force: Sanofibas, GlaxoSmithKline and Merck.

Lanzhou Institute of Biological Products:

Features: low manufacturing process. HIB produced in Lanzhou can not reach the production process of starting injection when it is 2 months old, and children can only be vaccinated when they are 3 months old. The lowest price, the effect is slightly worse.

Yunnan Watson:

High titer and low price. However, in 2008, several children in Shandong province had an adverse reaction to the vaccine, and the vaccine gradually withdrew from the competitive market of HIB. After that, the manufacturer resumed production, but the market share was not as good as before.

Sanofi bath (sanofipasteour):

The vaccine company under Sanofi-Aventis Group is the world's largest enterprise specializing in the research, development and production of human vaccines. 1992 Haemophilus influenzae type B vaccine was developed.

GlaxoSmithKline:

Founded in February 2000, it was formed by the merger of GlaxoWellcome Company and SmithKline Bicheng Company. The history of both companies can be traced back to1mid-9th century. Hib vaccine developed by GlaxoSmithKline was approved by FDA.

Merck: liquid HIB.

Imported products have high titer and advanced production technology, but the price is higher.
