Lantern Festival, also known as "Lantern Festival". The word lantern means "a lantern in a transparent box, usually a metal box with a glass edge and a handle so that you can take it outside", which means "lantern, lantern".
Lantern Festival is one of the traditional festivals in China. The first month is the first month of the lunar calendar. 1. Decorate lanterns with colorful decorations. Since the custom of decorating lanterns on the Lantern Festival came into being, the fifteenth day of the first month is an important event in all dynasties.
2. Solving riddles on lanterns "Solving riddles on lanterns", also known as "playing riddles", is an added activity after the Lantern Festival. Lantern riddles first developed from riddles and originated in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. This is a literary game full of ridicule, discipline, humor and banter.
3. Playing Dragon Lantern, also known as Dragon Lantern or Dragon Dance. The Chinese nation advocates dragons and regards them as auspicious symbols.

5. Lion dance is an excellent folk art in China. Whenever the Lantern Festival or assembly is celebrated, people always come to the lion dance for entertainment.
6. Rowing a dry boat, folklore is to commemorate Dayu who made great contributions to water control, also known as running a dry boat, which is to imitate the action of a boat on land.
7. Eating Yuanxiao, as a food, has a long history in China. In the Song Dynasty, a novel Lantern Festival food was popular among the people. This kind of food was originally called "Floating Zi Yuan", later called "Yuanxiao", and merchants also called it "Yuanbao".
8. Sending children lanterns, referred to as "sending lanterns", is also called "sending lanterns". That is, before the Lantern Festival, parents send lanterns to their newly-married daughters or ordinary relatives and friends send them to their newly-married infertile parents to add auspiciousness, because "lamp" is homophonic with "ding".
9. Like the Han nationality, ethnic minorities also celebrate the Lantern Festival. They are Manchu, Korean, Hezhe, Mongolian, Daur, Ewenki, Oroqen, Bai, Xibe, Tibetan, Naxi, Yao, She, Buyi, Zhuang, Li and Gelao.
