Impression of Peking Opera

Recently, by chance, I saw two illustrations in a book introducing the history of Peking Opera-the Shufangzhai Theater and the Yin Changting Stage in the Forbidden City. This reminds me of the warm scenes where Tan Xinpei, Sun Juxian, Chen Delin and other older Peking Opera actors showed their exquisite skills in an original ecological way on these gorgeous stages.

Natural beauty is not false, and man-made things can never be replaced. Nature is the highest aesthetic realm, which originates from nature, and nature is one of the most important aesthetic standards for evaluating and evaluating characters. In order to achieve this ideal aesthetic demand, actors need to sing with real voices.

However, in many cases, public address equipment is needed in theater performances, and most performance venues at home and abroad can't sing without public address equipment. Because the theater is too big, the natural voice of many singers can't achieve the ideal effect. Therefore, to increase the volume through the microphone is actually a discount to the natural beauty of human voice. My real feeling is that the wireless microphone was used in the performance, which changed the traditional singing way of the actors and even approached the way of pop music. More seriously, it is the art of entertainment.

But the audience has been used to singing with the help of high-quality amplification equipment for several years. If you use real voice singing to retain art, can you still retain the audience?

With this question, I visited many small old theaters, in which some amateur opera actors actually performed traditional classic plays. The actors on the stage sang heartily, and the audience under the stage listened with rapture. It seems that I really found the original flavor of a hundred years ago. I asked and consulted many audiences, who were eager for opera singers like me to return to their old gardens and perform more original performances. With the encouragement of these opera fans, my confidence has doubled. After consulting with colleagues, we decided to make a bold attempt. Our professional opera actors took off their microphones and chose a classical theater with reasonable architectural acoustics to perform several traditional old plays. This is not only a simple technical attempt, but also a bold innovation for our actors to return to the traditional performance environment.

What makes me even more happy is that many of our netizens, as soon as they heard me introduce this idea, all signed up enthusiastically and were eager to join the job. Tongyuexing Teahouse has also made practical improvements to my various requirements. After several discussions, it was decided to stage the famous drama "Searching for the Lonely and Saving the Lonely" in an original ecological way on July 2. This drama is full of life, beauty and purity, and it is the ideal drama for this attempt.

"The road is long, Xiu Yuan, Xiu Yuan, and I will go up and down." . In several rehearsals, I feel more and more that no matter whether this bold attempt is successful or not, it will be a bright light for me and my colleagues to sail in the sea of art.
