How to treat multiple myeloma?
There are three main treatments for multiple myeloma: chemotherapy, radiotherapy and transplantation. Under normal circumstances, asymptomatic patients with multiple myeloma do not need special treatment. If they have extramedullary plasmacytoma and uncontrollable bone pain, radiotherapy can be used. If chemotherapy fails, radiotherapy and chemotherapy can be used. Autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation can also be used for treatment. Generally, chemotherapy is the main method. According to different conditions, radiotherapy and bone marrow transplantation can be used. Anemia and bone pain can be treated.
