What are the central ideas of Buddhism and Taoism?
The central idea of Buddhism is the Four Noble Truths: Suffering, Setting, Destruction, and the Way. Everything in Buddhism is based on this. Buddhism Shakyamuni discovered that life is suffering, in order to achieve the realm of suffering (nirvana silence) and explored and found that suffering is caused by ignorance, greed, anger and dementia, and realized the truth of all dharmas (karmic emptiness, no self, impermanence). Karma is the philosophical support for the Four Noble Truths, the core of Buddhism. All of Shakyamuni's teachings are not separate from this.
The central idea of Taoism: In Taoism's system of thought, "Tao" is the core of faith, and "virtue" is the root of Taoism, and the two are mutually reinforcing. The unity of heaven and man is the basic realm of the cultivator, pursuing perfect harmony between man and the universe, man and nature, and man and society. Social harmony is precisely the crystallization of wisdom originating from this idea. Harmonious society is people's beautiful pursuit of a happy life and the ultimate goal of human social development.
