Introduction of secret color porcelain
Secret porcelain, a fine product of Yueyao celadon, a traditional porcelain-making process of Han nationality, is a special porcelain presented to the imperial court by the famous Yuezhou kiln in ancient China (now in Zhejiang area), which is referred to as "secret porcelain" for short. The word "secret color" originated from Lu Guimeng's poem "Secret color is more powerful" in the late Tang Dynasty. In the Song, Ming and Qing Dynasties, scholars have been arguing about the exact meaning of the word "secret color". According to the legend of the Song Dynasty, Qian Liu, the King of Wu Yue in the Five Dynasties, stipulated that the porcelain specially burned in Yue Kiln was not allowed to be used by ordinary people, and the glaze formula and production process were kept secret. It is said that it is close. According to the explanation of "color" in this encyclopedia, "color" can be interpreted as "formula" besides "color". The secret meaning of "secret color" is "secret" and "color" is "powder formula" and "glaze formula". Therefore, the so-called "secret color" is "secret glaze formula", so "secret color porcelain" is porcelain with secret glaze formula.
