The inheritance status of Chinese folk dance oasis

There are two main problems in the development of China's national folk dance culture: one is on the verge of extinction by the impact of new culture. With the continuous development of the economy, science and technology levels continue to improve, the people's standard of living is also higher and higher, the cultural concepts will naturally change, which led to China's national culture of continuous reform and renewal. Due to the impact of the new culture, the traditional culture of the nation will inevitably be affected and make the traditional culture of the national folk on the verge of extinction. For example, China's "four drums" dance, which originated in the rural areas of the Northeast, is a kind of dance that exists on the funeral, self-indulgence is strong. However, in recent years, in order to save land resources, China vigorously implement cremation, so that this kind of funeral dance also slowly disappeared now "four drums" dance only exists in remote villages. Another is the threat of assimilation due to the influence of strong foreign cultures. As the economic level of each country continues to rise, the globalization of the world economy and the fusion of world cultures are now the order of the day. Nowadays, the Internet is spreading all over the world, and when people from different countries and ethnic groups use the Internet for mutual communication and exchange, it naturally brings about mutual cultural integration, and this trend of cultural integration has become more and more obvious. Under the influence of foreign strong culture, it has become more and more difficult for a nation to protect its traditional culture, and many of our traditional national cultures are facing the threat of assimilation. For example, China's "water drum dance" is a dance performed by China's De'ang ethnic group for rituals, which usually occurs in the activities of the gods or water festivals. But due to the strong cultural influence of the neighboring Han and Dai, it has been slowly assimilated and replaced by the Dai's "Ga Yang" dance.

The inheritance of folk dance culture

In the face of the current situation that folk dance culture is on the verge of extinction and assimilation, in order to protect the folk dance culture in China, we have to inherit it. Generally speaking, there are three main ways to inherit folk dance culture: one is environmental inheritance; another is mass inheritance; and another is social inheritance.

Environmental inheritance refers to the special environment and atmosphere, so that people feel the essence and charm of the national culture, based on an accurate grasp of the style of the national dance, the folk dance culture unique to the nation is shown in the traditional festivals or rituals, so that people can be the folk dance culture of the people to inherit. Folk dances are inherently mass, and the performers are the people who participate in the activities, so their inheritance takes place in a specific environment. For example, the Dongba dance, which is unique to the Naxi people, usually appears in folk festivals or ritual activities, and the people can naturally take advantage of the wind or sky rituals and other activities to pass on the Dongshou dance.

The mass transmission refers to the transmission of folk dance culture among the masses. The main ways of mass transmission are family transmission and master-disciple transmission. Family inheritance consists of father and son inheritance and uncle and nephew inheritance. Due to the relationship of kinship, the family inheritance is less influenced by the outside world, and the inheritance content is relatively pure, which is conducive to the better inheritance of traditional culture. For example, the "jumping vegetables" dance, which is a characteristic folk dance of the Nanjian Yi people, is inherited by the family, and it is precisely because of the family inheritance that it has been passed down to the present day. Teacher-disciple inheritance is the most common way of folk dance culture inheritance. Although the teacher-disciple inheritance is not connected with the family, the scope of inheritance is broader, and the different inheritance teachers have different ways of guidance, so that the traditional dance culture can continue to absorb new knowledge, thus supplementing the traditional folk dance culture. For example, the "four drums" dance, which is passed on to masters and disciples to enable its development and has a history of more than three hundred years.

Social inheritance refers to the use of social forces to pass on the folk dance culture. Our country has always advocated the development of "material civilization" and "spiritual civilization" **** together, so we also attach great importance to the inheritance of folk dance culture. Various research institutions have been set up to study and protect folk dance culture. For example, in 2002, China's Dongba Research Institute, in conjunction with Yunnan University for Nationalities, set up an undergraduate course on "Naxi Linguistics and Dongba Culture". The social inheritance ` way to the national folk dance culture to carry on the inheritance.
