Why Yunnan minorities can continue their ancient traditions
This is related to Yunnan's history, geography and other environments. Yunnan has many ethnic minorities, and the process of their formation is complex, and successive governments have adopted a tie-up policy, that is, they have set up a governmental organization, but each ethnic group has its own local government or chieftain. The Han Chinese entered Yunnan from Zhuangwei Wang Dian, but what followed was not the Sinicization of the minorities, but the barbarization of the Han Chinese, i.e., the Han Chinese were integrated into the minorities, and it was not until the large influx of Han Chinese during the Ming and Qing Dynasties that the situation was reversed, which also determined that the minorities maintained their own traditions to a large extent, including the legends. There has been some Han influence but it has not been completely lost.
