Instead of focusing on the pursuit of an obsessive teenager's ideals, Jump Out places the story in the context of a troubled society. The movie's unique style of soundtrack music is refreshing: pop-style blues-rock, sometimes soothing and melancholic, sometimes lively and leaping, ebbing and flowing with the young protagonist's changing mood. It has a unique perspective. The other boring and tense music is the most appropriate background for the miner's town.
