Working Principle:

What are the types of palletizing robots

1, according to the structure

Based on the different mechanical structure, palletizing robots include the following three forms: Cartesian lug type, rotary joint type and gantry lifting frame type.

1) Cartesian palletizing robot: It is mainly composed of four parts: column, X-arm, Y-arm and gripper, and completes the palletizing of materials with four degrees of freedom (including three moving joints and one rotating joint). This form of palletizing mechanism is simple in construction, the body is more rigid, and the movable weight is larger, which is suitable for the palletizing of heavier materials.

②Rotary joint robot: the palletizer rotates around the body, including four rotary joints: waist joint, shoulder joint, elbow joint and wrist joint. This form of palletizer is programmed by means of demonstration, that is, the operator holds a demonstration box and controls the robot to move according to the prescribed action, so the motion process is stored in the memory and the motion process can be reproduced later when it is run automatically. This robot has a small body and a large range of motion, and can palletize one or several pallets at the same time, enabling it to work flexibly on a variety of product lines.

3) Gantry crane type: The robot arm is mounted on a gantry crane, called gantry palletizing robot, which has a large working range and is capable of gripping heavier materials.

2, according to the stacking requirements

①Single layer palletizing robot

Single layer structure of the palletizing robot is relatively basic, mainly by the conveyor belt to convey the material over, and so on to reach the steering mechanism, can be adjusted in accordance with the direction of the provisions of the direction of the readiness of the finished product, you can enter the layer of the conveyor mechanism. As long as the products are arranged closely in this place according to the set arrangement order, then the arranged products will be moved to the next station through the conveyor roller, so that the stacking operation of the palletizing robot will be completed.

②Multi-layer Palletizing Robot

There are single-layer corresponding multi-layer, which is more complicated than single-layer palletizing robot. We can see that the pallets of the multilayer palletizing robot are under the conveyor belt, and can still be carried out left and right for certain. When the machine is stacking, the materials will be neatly arranged on the pallet, and then the pallet will be set at the load left limit position. When the material conveyed by the conveyor belt is blocked by the baffle plate, it is exactly arranged in a row. Then the pallet moves right, and then like the above steps, the material will be arranged in a row. By analogy, the height of the lifting platform of the palletizing robot will drop one layer for each additional layer of material until the material is piled up to a certain height and then stop.

③Arrangement Palletizing Robot

This kind of palletizing robot conveys the materials in rows, and the pusher plate puts the conveyed materials on the collecting table. Then it moves to the left and pushes from the bottom to the top to stack three layers of materials together. In this process, there are inclined devices to ensure the smooth completion of the process, and the special characteristics of the collector table will also help the palletizing robot to complete the stacking.
