I want to make a 12V booster.

Most of the traditional electronic mousetraps are directly powered by mains electricity, so it is not convenient to move outdoors. The electronic mousetrap introduced in this paper is powered by battery, which is very suitable for field use. The circuit has the advantages of good mouse catching effect, small volume, light weight, low power consumption (the circuit only works when the mouse touches the wire) and has the advantages of acousto-optic indication. The power supply of mousetrap can be supplied by storage battery or high-capacity rechargeable battery, which is very convenient to use in places without commercial power or in the field.

First, the working principle

Figure 1 is the circuit diagram of the electronic mousetrap, which consists of a booster circuit, a control circuit and an acousto-optic indicating circuit. At ordinary times, the resistances at both ends of A and B are infinite. When the mouse touches both ends of A and B wires, the resistance decreases, the control circuit changes from off state to on state, the relay is turned on, and the oscillating circuit in the booster circuit works, so that a high voltage of about 1000V~ 1500V is generated on L3, which is output after rectification by VD 1 VD2, killing the mouse.

Second, the production method

The step-up transformer T can be wound by the magnetic core of the line output transformer of the black-and-white TV set. After heating, remove the original coil and skeleton, and then make the skeleton yourself. The skeleton can be made of a plastic circular tube with an inner diameter of 1 1mm and three circular plastic sheets with an inner diameter of 14mm and an outer diameter of 40mm, which are wrapped around the antenna coil in the radio by glue (as shown in Figure 2).

When the skeleton is finished, it can be wound. 12 use 0.39mm enameled wire to wind the skeleton for 25 turns, add a layer of green paper to wind L 1, L 1 lead-out umbrella-shaped enameled wire for 60 turns, and D use 0. 15mm enameled wire for 2000 turns to find out that the same end of each winding is fixed separately, and then In order to prevent magnetic saturation, the magnetic core should have a little magnetic gap, and then the magnetic core should be fastened with glue. Transistor V 1 can be an ordinary high-power transistor with a slightly larger β value, such as 3DD 15, BU406, etc.

Third, debugging

Don't connect the control circuit and rectifier diode, connect A and B to a fluorescent tube first, and then connect the power supply. At this time, you should be able to hear the slight vibration of the transformer. Connect a 2kΩ fixed resistor and a 2kΩ adjustable resistor in series on R2, and adjust the adjustable resistor. When the lamp is lit to the brightest, measure its resistance and find a suitable resistance to weld in R2. If the circuit doesn't work after turning on the power supply, you can change the same terminal of L2, then turn on the control circuit, and connect a resistor of100kΩ to A and B. If the relay J is closed after turning on the power supply, the buzzer should sound and the LED 1-LED3 should emit light. The circuit can be used after debugging.

The conductor can be replaced by bare copper wire. In order to attract mice, you can also hang some bait on the copper wire. B can be connected to iron plate or wetland. To increase conductivity, you can also sprinkle some salt water on the ground. Put lead in a place where rats often haunt. When the mouse touches the copper wire, the control circuit works and turns on the booster circuit to kill the mouse. The buzzer sounded to inform the mouse to remove the body as soon as possible.

If the mouse catching place is far away from the residence, a wireless transmitting circuit can be added to the circuit, and a wireless receiver can be placed in the residence to inform that a mouse has been killed through wireless transmission. For example, you can modify the FM wireless microphone circuit with a slightly longer transmission distance and use FM radio to receive it at home. Of course, you can also use the wireless transceiver kit, but as an electronic enthusiast, why not do it yourself! ?
