The Origin of Gongzhuling City's Hometown of Poetry

Gongzhuling City, the hometown of poetry, is the first national-level hometown of China poetry in Jilin Province.

Since 2008, Gongzhuling City has always regarded the construction of "China's hometown of poetry" as a brand to learn and practice Scientific Outlook on Development, as a business card to inherit traditional culture, and as a means to strengthen the construction of spiritual civilization and strive for a national civilized city.

In the process of creating the hometown of poetry in China and setting off the upsurge of cultural construction, people from all walks of life and poetry lovers in Gongzhuling participated extensively, actively devoted themselves to the poetry creation of praising the motherland, the party and Lingling, and published a book of poetry, The Charm of Gongzhuling, which reflected the local customs of Gongzhuling. Actively participate in national and provincial poetry creation activities. Six poets published 16 poems in Poetry Monthly, 32 poets selected 40 poems in Changbai Mountain Poetry Magazine, 42 poets selected 70 poems in Siping Poetry Magazine, and 3 poets won the Huludao Poetry Competition.
